JADE MARIE PATEK RELEASES ENERGETIC NEW SINGLE “DEAD FLOWERS”
TO TEXAS / RED DIRT RADIO
AUSTIN, TX – MAY 15, 2018 - Jade Marie Patek, singer/songwriter whose debut radio single “Drive” climbed to #28 on the Texas Regional Radio Chart, has just released her second single to radio called “Dead Flowers”.
Much different from the debut single, “Dead Flowers” delivers tons of energy and a lot of sass. Patek teamed up with songwriter, Leon Waddy, to write this song back in 2015. “I wanted to write about a very personal thing that happened in my life that I am sure a lot of other people have gone through,” says Patek. “But instead of talking about heartbreak and sadness, I wanted to be more positive about the situation. This song sends a message that no matter who may hurt you or get you down, only YOU control your happiness. You don’t need validation from someone else that you are worth it; you already are. If they fail to see it, well then see ya later. I got better things to do.”
“Dead Flowers” was recorded in White Room Studios in Austin, TX, under production and engineering of Dusty Saxton and Sebastian Cure. It officially was sent to radio May 7, 2018.
